Vacaville Unified School District Graduations
At Vacaville Unified School District, we are continuously working to improve the educational experience for our students. One way we do this is by providing live streaming of high school graduations, allowing everyone to share in the excitement and joy of this special event. Live streaming high school graduations is just one example of how VUSD is using technology to enhance education. As the lead of the live streaming team, I am proud of the impact we have made in bringing this special moment to all families and friends.
The Technology Team has been running the graduation live stream since 2018. We provide a comprehensive solution that includes a team of professionals to run the cameras, direct the video, and stream the event live on YouTube and Facebook. We ensure that each graduation is a success, providing high-quality video and audio that captures the excitement and emotion of the event. We use the latest technology, including high-quality cameras and streaming equipment, to deliver a seamless and reliable live stream.
Experience
As a seasoned broadcasting professional, I have had experience in every aspect of graduation live streams. From being a camera man to maintaining all equipment, I have done it all. From 2021-2022, I worked alongside our Director of Communications to create and execute an unforgettable graduation live stream for all Vacaville Unified School District high schools. This experience helped us to perfect our techniques and provided us with a chance to showcase our state-of-the-art equipment.
In 2023 that I was promoted by our Director of Communications to run the entire live stream event, in charge of a whole team. This challenging role has taught me how to be a successful leader, to take initiative and ensure all aspects of an event run seamlessly. I continue to run all high school graduations for the Vacaville Unified School District to this day.
